A fan well worth its price but a few things you need to know first!I live in Chennai, all this heat and humidity can only be removed if there constant and good air circulation indoors. This is the main reason I bought a long life industrial fan.
Plastic fans cannot move the large volumes of air that industrial fans can, and plastic fans usually wear out fast.
This product promises a 2 year warranty so let's see how it holds up.
Now the things you need to know.
1) needs manual assembly on delivery and you need to have tools nearby.
Pls do note it's not designed for domestic use hence the above restriction...
2) it does make noise but relatively quite for its size and volume of air it moves.
3) does not oscillate. Probably don't need as air reaches most parts of a small bedroom.
4) the motor part does get hot, don't know if it's normal but other than that havnt faced any other problems.
5) the whole thing is metal even blades but the protective spokes overs it have rather large gaps, so if you have kids or pets be very very careful.
Finally even in the lowest speed it's pretty much awesome.
Trust me it's costly compared to domestic plastic fans but it's well worth the investment.
Also Made In India by Havells so that's a plus too.Posted on
